Some cool ads......

Thinking of Ads...

So I have been thinking about my ads. I want them to be clever and possibly even a little sarcastic. I have been trying to come up with some cool sayings that I could put in the ad. I guess the main goal of the advertisement is to promote the cupcakes, but maybe I will feature one particular flavor. Not sure yet....

Here are some sayings I have thought might be cute:

-Make Cupcakes Not War (not sure what I can do with this, still need to brainstorm)
- Keep Calm and Eat a Cupcake (play on British war slogan "Keep Calm and Carry On")
- Everyday's A Cupcake Kind of Day! (Possibly featuring several photos of cupcakes with the colors I have been using)

Another idea I have is maybe taking one specific cupcake and putting a spotlight on it and putting something like "The Main Event" or something. The company offers giant cupcakes so maybe I could do that for it.

I will try and think of some more and post some sketches later.

Some Cool Stuff!

These are a few things I found on the website Paige posted on the blog earlier today. The website Graphic Exchange.com is full of inspiration. There is tons of stuff to look at. These are just a few that I liked while I skimmed through the site!

I am currently working on my self-mailer but am not sure where I am going to print it since it is larger than a standard printer and I don't know where I am going to get nice enough paper but still big.

How are you guys printing your self-mailer? Should I try Kinko's or somewhere like that?

Another one. Lori suggested that I make the circles smaller so I did!

Possible New Designs

Okay so I am trying to change the design up for the stationery set. I added the stitching to the stripes but I am not sure how that works. I also did one with circles and I think I like this one better than the original stripe idea.

Are there too many circles on the back?

I also thought about possibly adding stitched circles inside some random circles around the design to tie in the stitched idea.
